Base Salary
$177k - $365k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and design Pinterest’s data warehouse architecture, storage, and access patterns.
- Lead ambiguous, challenging, and cross-functional initiatives across data warehouse and agentic data analytics domains.
- Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar through leadership on technical design, execution strategies, and trade-off decisions.
- Collaborate with Product, Data Science, and Engineering stakeholders to understand user needs, align teams, and drive progress.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of relevant industry experience with large-scale data warehouses, data tools, and platforms.
- 5+ years of experience building data warehouses and data ecosystem tools using technologies such as Spark, Trino, Flink, Airflow, Querybook, Superset, and DataHub.
- Ability to work with cross-functional partners across multiple organizations.
- Hands-on experience building tools and data pipelines with AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, and Codex.
- Hands-on experience building AI tools and platforms that accelerate data pipeline authoring, data analytics, and engineering productivity.
