Base Salary
$87k - $198k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Azure cloud security architectures for critical systems.
- Configure high-throughput security data pipelines using Microsoft Sentinel, Log Analytics, and Azure Monitor.
- Develop analytic rules and workbooks with KQL, automation rules, and data connectors.
- Design security-operations data pipeline architectures for log collection, normalization, enrichment, and routing.
- Work with Microsoft-native log sources including Defender XDR, Intune, and Entra ID.
- Develop custom data connectors using REST APIs and guide customers from concept through production.
- Research security tools, recommend capabilities, collaborate with engineers and leadership, and mentor cloud security professionals.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience configuring high-throughput streaming data pipelines with Microsoft Sentinel, Log Analytics, and Azure Monitor.
- At least 3 years of experience developing analytic rules and workbooks with KQL, automation rules, and Data Collection Endpoints and Rules.
- At least 3 years of experience designing security-operations data pipeline architectures.
- Experience with Defender XDR, Intune, and Entra ID.
- Ability to work with REST APIs and develop custom data connectors.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Preferred: Microsoft 365 administration experience, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, MDE, or Intune.
- Preferred: Experience with GraphQL, Power Apps, Power Automate, Cribl, Kafka, or NiFi.
- Preferred: Microsoft AZ-500, SC-200, AZ-104, or CISSP certification.
