Responsibilities
- Build and maintain software solutions for global electronic trading and agency-model execution services.
- Deliver highly scalable, fault-tolerant, supportable, and well-architected solutions.
- Develop Java applications using concurrency, synchronization, Spring Boot, HTTP APIs, Docker, and database systems.
- Implement automated tests using JUnit and Spring Boot testing tools.
- Collaborate with global teams using Git, CI pipelines, and Agile Scrum practices.
- Identify problem areas proactively and evolve effective technical solutions.
Requirements
- Expert-level experience with Java 8 or later.
- Strong knowledge of memory management, multithreading, concurrency, and synchronization.
- Strong experience with relational and NoSQL database systems.
- Strong understanding of computer science algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
- Experience with Spring Boot, HTTP APIs, Docker or containers, and automated testing with JUnit and Spring Boot testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI pipelines, ideally GitLab CI, and comfort using Git in an Agile Scrum environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, initiative, and ability to learn quickly.
- Good understanding of capital markets and investment banking is desirable.
- Experience in the surveillance domain is desirable.
- Significant cloud experience, preferably with AWS, is desirable.
- Unix and scripting skills are desirable.
- Experience with React or Next.js, or willingness to learn, is desirable.
