Responsibilities
- Shape enterprise AI strategies, assessments, implementation roadmaps, and sequenced investment plans with CIOs, CTOs, and business leaders.
- Own the complete technical architecture for complex enterprise AI platforms spanning agentic, generative, and classical AI/ML systems.
- Lead the hands-on design and development of agentic applications, reusable agent harnesses, developer frameworks, and reference implementations.
- Define architecture for multi-agent orchestration, memory, tool and skill use, agent registries, AI gateways, foundation models, inference, and classical ML deployment.
- Establish enterprise context-layer architecture covering knowledge graphs, ontologies, vector search, semantic retrieval, prompt context, and conversational state.
- Set standards for security, identity and authorization, guardrails, governance, observability, performance, scalability, and FinOps.
- Evaluate technologies and make definitive recommendations on design patterns, frameworks, platforms, and reference architectures.
- Lead domain architects and specialists, resolve cross-domain architectural tensions, and govern delivery artifacts including blueprints, ADRs, diagrams, and integration specifications.
- Conduct architecture workshops, build proofs of concept, create reusable practice assets, and represent the AI architecture practice externally.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 8 years designing and deploying enterprise-grade advanced AI solutions using agentic, generative, and classical AI/ML with at least one cloud vendor.
- At least 2 years of experience in LLM and generative AI.
- At least 2 years architecting and operationalizing LLM-driven application architecture patterns.
- At least 6 years of experience in engineering, machine learning, deep learning, and NLP solutions and applications.
- At least 6 years of experience as a machine architect designing big data, machine learning, and large-scale analytical engineering solutions.
- English proficiency is required for regular interaction with stakeholders across Canada, the United States, and other countries.

- Full-time role with an annual base salary range of $142,050 to $292,000 for British Columbia, Ontario, and New Brunswick.
