Responsibilities
- Manage code releases to internal Dev and Test environments.
- Produce high-quality, maintainable, understandable, and extensible Android code.
- Design and architect Android applications and custom UI experiences.
- Integrate third-party libraries and applications, including video providers.
- Document Android solutions and code for the wider team.
- Communicate clearly and contribute to effective technical solutions.
- Maintain attention to detail and quality in final products.
Requirements
- Expert knowledge of object-oriented programming.
- Expert experience designing and architecting Android applications.
- Expert knowledge of reactive and functional programming, including Rx, Coroutines, and Flow.
- Expert experience integrating web services using REST and JSON.
- Expert Git usage and code management experience.
- Expert experience integrating third-party libraries and applications.
- Expert-level documentation skills for Android solutions and code.
- Competence with task and ticket management tools such as JIRA.
- Competence with persistent storage, CI/CD solutions, Kotlin Multiplatform, Jetpack Compose, and unit testing.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Java for Android.
