Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for frequent and reliable software delivery.
- Automate infrastructure deployment, scaling, and management using configuration management and scripting tools.
- Implement and manage Docker, Podman, and other container runtime technologies, including rootless and rootful configurations.
- Collaborate with development and test teams to improve build, integration, and deployment processes.
- Integrate automated testing, static analysis, code quality, coverage, and security tools into delivery pipelines.
- Monitor pipeline and system performance and improve reliability and availability.
- Maintain security, compliance, and configuration baselines across environments.
- Manage secure credentials, service accounts, and identity controls for automation and access.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 5 years of related experience, or a master’s degree and 3 years of related experience, or a PhD and 1 year of related experience.
- Current, active, in-scope U.S. Government-issued Secret security clearance is required at application and must be held to start.
- Experience with containerization and container runtimes such as Docker or Podman.
- Experience with automated testing, software development pipelines or factories, and deploying applications in containerized environments.
- Experience with CI/CD tools including the Atlassian tool suite, Jira, GitHub, GitLab, SonarQube, Checkmarx, Coverity, or Jenkins.
- Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux operating systems.
- Preferred qualifications include Linux administration, shell scripting, production-like operations, hypervisors, credential and identity management, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Model-Based Systems Engineering, Gherkin, and Cucumber.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 10%.

- Primary base salary range is $103,600.00 to $155,400.00 annually.
