Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain complex software solutions.
- Own feature development from design through implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Define software specifications, architecture, and test strategies for new features.
- Troubleshoot complex software issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement robust fixes.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions.
- Collaborate with product management, cross-functional teams, and customers to understand requirements and manage dependencies.
- Drive engineering best practices, technical excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 6 years of software product development experience.
- Strong expertise in Core Java, including Streams, functional programming, concurrency, and virtual threads.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem.
- At least 4 years of software design experience, including HLD, LLD, OOAD, design patterns, SOLID, GRASP, Clean Code principles, and code reviews.
- At least 4 years of experience designing and developing microservices or SOA-based systems.
- Experience with event-driven architectures, messaging systems, and asynchronous distributed systems, including RabbitMQ or Kafka.
- Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and performance optimization.
- Experience using AI-powered engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or Rovo.
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Preferred: semiconductor or metrology/inspection domain experience; React or Angular experience; and workflow orchestration experience with Temporal or Apache Airflow.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites in the US, Taiwan, and Korea as required.
