Base Salary
$123k - $161k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop moderately complex full-stack software solutions and scalable cloud-native applications.
- Build and maintain Java-based applications, robust APIs, and integrations with enterprise platforms and backend services.
- Develop ETL pipelines and optimize complex SQL queries for large-scale reporting and analytics datasets.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, availability, and quality for business-critical reporting.
- Modernize complex systems to improve efficiency, scalability, and operating cost.
- Implement and coordinate end-to-end software technology tasks across engineering, business, and support teams.
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into scalable technical solutions.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software development experience focused on full-stack Java web applications.
- Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST API development, and Angular or similar frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including S3, EC2, ECS, Fargate, Lambda, SNS, and SQS.
- Experience building ETL pipelines and scalable data-processing solutions.
- Strong relational database and advanced SQL experience, including complex query optimization for large-scale datasets.
- Experience with DevOps tools including GitLab; Terraform and infrastructure-as-code experience are preferred.
- Understanding of scalable distributed-system design principles and architecture.
- Experience partnering with business stakeholders and working in cross-functional Agile environments.
- Financial or reporting dataset experience, financial data models, enterprise reporting systems, data governance, data quality, and reconciliation experience are preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
