Base Salary
$145k - $186k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop technical strategy and roadmap for the Platform Engineering team and broader technology initiatives.
- Architect, design, prototype, implement, automate, and document platform infrastructure solutions.
- Develop data platform infrastructure strategy for large, open-ended problems.
- Lead high-impact, cross-functional technical projects from inception through implementation.
- Build technical plans, provide technical leadership, and follow through on execution.
- Develop cross-functional relationships and contribute to overall technology strategy.
- Mentor junior team members on techniques, tools, and best practices.
- Support risk management and the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 8 years of related industry experience.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD engineering practices and strong experience with on-premise and AWS Cloud infrastructure.
- Strong experience with containers and container orchestration, including Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes.
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and code management platforms, including Harness, GitLab, and Artifactory.
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code development, including Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
- Experience with a major programming or scripting language such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or Shell.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, collaboration, and technical tradeoff decision-making skills.
- Ability to complete a background and drug screen.
- Preferred qualifications include additional related education or work experience, a master’s degree, AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification, Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification, Terraform Authoring and Operations Professional certification, and FinTech experience.
