Responsibilities
- Perform certification, validation, and integration testing of hardware and software solutions.
- Troubleshoot and debug technical issues, identify root causes, and develop solutions.
- Collaborate with Lenovo engineering teams, VMware, partners, and vendors.
- Support new product and software releases and validate solution stability and reliability.
- Work with virtualization, cloud, edge computing, and AI technologies.
- Contribute ideas and build MVPs and prototypes for innovation initiatives.
- Communicate technical findings, issues, and action plans verbally and in writing.
- Work as part of a global, cross-functional engineering team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 1–2 years of professional experience in a technical, engineering, IT, or related role.
- Scripting experience with Bash, Python, PowerShell, or PowerCLI.
- Knowledge of computer architecture, including processors, memory, GPUs, I/O, and peripherals.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Linux or Windows system administration.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Interest in learning new technologies and products.
- Preferred qualifications include VMware/vSAN knowledge, BMC/IPMI experience, basic Layer 2 networking and routing knowledge, global-team experience, Jira and Confluence exposure, and experience in IT solutions, product development, testing, or technical enablement.
