Responsibilities
- Create and maintain detailed test plans and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and system tests across platforms and environments.
- Identify, document, track, and retest defects using defect management tools.
- Collaborate with business analysts and developers to clarify requirements and ensure testability.
- Generate test execution reports and defect summaries.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to team discussions and process improvements.
- Maintain test results, test data, and configuration documentation.
Requirements
- Foundational understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and the software development life cycle.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Basic understanding of SQL and Unix commands for data validation.
- Interest in the financial services industry and its technology landscape.
- Familiarity with JIRA, HP ALM, or Allure is preferred.
- Exposure to Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG is beneficial.
