Responsibilities
- Identify, plan, and implement AI-driven tools to reduce engineering workload and improve productivity.
- Develop Go frameworks and libraries that enable product engineers to build and ship backend services efficiently.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical roadmaps for backend frameworks and microservices.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing and engineering excellence.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and champion high code quality.
- Work with teams across Southeast Asia from the Singapore office.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of software development experience with a record of delivering successful solutions across teams.
- Proficiency in Go and ability to write idiomatic, testable, and maintainable code.
- Hands-on experience writing and operating backend microservices.
- Familiarity with HTTP, gRPC, MySQL, Redis, Kubernetes, Istio, DataDog, Kibana, and Grafana.
- Working knowledge of Git and GitLab for version control and CI/CD collaboration.
