Base Salary
$124k - $222k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain services and tooling for AI-agent deployment, testing, and lifecycle management within development and CI/CD workflows.
- Develop systems for workflow coordination, state management, tool integration, and multi-step processing.
- Write maintainable Python code for platform capabilities and APIs.
- Deploy and operate reliable, scalable services on Kubernetes.
- Build observability, logging, tracing, debugging, performance, fault-tolerance, and internal developer-experience capabilities.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and AI teams on production-ready solutions, system architecture, and technical decisions.
Requirements
- 3+ years of software development experience building backend systems or services.
- Strong proficiency in Python or similar languages such as Go or Java.
- Experience designing and building distributed systems and scalable services.
- Experience running and operating services in Kubernetes-based environments.
- Familiarity with machine learning or LLM-powered applications, agent-based systems, workflow orchestration, and their production deployment and operational tooling.
- Experience designing systems for reliability, scalability, observability, and maintainability, including monitoring, logging, tracing, and debugging distributed workflows.
- Strong understanding of APIs, asynchronous processing, and service-oriented architecture.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with platforms, infrastructure, developer tooling, cloud platforms, modern deployment practices, model serving, vector databases, or evaluation frameworks in an MLOps context.
- Experience with LLM application patterns such as tool integration, retrieval-augmented generation, context and memory management, or multi-step workflows.
- Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to technical direction.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, make sound technical decisions, drive projects end-to-end, and collaborate effectively.
