Responsibilities
- Design and build low-latency, high-availability backend services for alarm detection and response.
- Create flexible AI-powered workflows for intrusion and video monitoring.
- Build distributed systems integrating internal products and third-party services.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to shape customer experiences.
- Take ownership of systems from design through production.
- Champion best practices in testing, observability, and continuous deployment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience in a production environment.
- Strong programming skills, preferably in Go.
- Solid understanding of distributed system design and API architecture.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
- Background in working with databases like Postgres and scalable data systems.
- Proven track record of delivering robust software in fast-paced teams.
- Willingness to work onsite five days per week.
