Responsibilities
- Build highly scalable applications that process large datasets in near real time.
- Develop modern, responsive user interfaces using ReactJS, VueJS, or related frameworks.
- Participate in an agile team developing a large-scale financial-sector web application.
- Contribute across requirements analysis, system and UI design, estimation, development, testing, release management, and production support.
- Design and consume RESTful APIs and develop reusable libraries using sound design patterns.
- Apply secure coding practices, including OWASP best practices, and perform JVM tuning when needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of hands-on production experience with Java.
- At least 1 year of experience building rich user interfaces with React, Angular, VueJS, or JSF.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, scalable concurrent systems, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving.
- Preferred experience with Oracle or SQL Server, Eclipse, SVN, Maven, Spring, Hibernate, Tomcat, HTML5, CSS3, SASS/SCSS, GCP, AWS, Azure, Jenkins, Git, GitHub, JUnit, Selenium, RESTful APIs, OWASP practices, secure coding, and JVM tuning.
