Responsibilities
- Lead the design and maintenance of automated testing frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
- Build and evolve comprehensive automated test suites for APIs and frontends across API, web, and mobile layers.
- Integrate automated tests into deployment pipelines to support continuous testing and rapid releases.
- Collaborate with developers and product owners to define acceptance criteria and identify risks early.
- Conduct deep code reviews of test scripts and mentor L1/L2 QA engineers.
- Own the quality strategy and drive a quality-first culture within the team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software quality assurance experience with a heavy focus on automation.
- Advanced proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar.
- Strong proficiency in at least one automation programming language: Java, C#, JavaScript, or Python.
- Deep experience testing RESTful APIs with tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
- Understanding of Git and CI/CD integration for automated testing.
- Advanced written and verbal English proficiency for collaboration with US-based clients.
- Mandatory experience in nearshore/offshore client-facing startup cultures.
