Responsibilities
- Act as the primary client contact and collaborate and negotiate with clients to bring technical visions to life.
- Guide and coach teams in software implementation and delivery.
- Oversee or participate in the full software consulting and delivery lifecycle from ideation through production evolution.
- Design solutions, select technologies, and make pragmatic tradeoffs within client constraints.
- Build features, design concepts, and interactive prototypes while embedding engineering best practices and UX specifications.
- Continue coding alongside developers and apply a variety of languages and tools.
- Champion clean, reusable code, TDD, pair programming, design patterns, continuous delivery, and DevSecOps practices.
- Cultivate team growth through feedback and an inclusive, supportive culture.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience designing, developing, and delivering scalable enterprise web applications with Python, React, and AWS.
- Strong experience designing scalable, highly available, and distributed applications.
- Hands-on experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, and RESTful APIs using technologies such as Kafka.
- Experience integrating Generative AI/LLM capabilities into enterprise applications using modern AI frameworks and APIs.
- Experience leading software development teams and using delivery practices such as TDD, continuous integration, pairing, and infrastructure automation.
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Ability to influence others, advocate for technical excellence, translate business needs into software requirements, and execute a technical vision focused on business value.
- Ability to mentor less experienced peers and navigate ambiguous situations from multiple perspectives.
