Responsibilities
- Build and operate a multi-agent system with an orchestrator, specialist agents, and a critic.
- Develop vector search, knowledge graph queries, hybrid retrieval, and citation generation.
- Build knowledge ingestion pipelines with source connectors, entity extraction, document linking, and temporal versioning.
- Build evaluation pipelines that measure every generation and assess system groundedness and failures.
- Integrate model APIs and govern them through an AI gateway.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of engineering experience, including at least 2 years working on production GenAI or agent-based systems.
- Experience shipping at least one AI product to real users with real production traffic.
- Strong applied skills in LLM orchestration, RAG, agent frameworks, prompt engineering, and evaluation.
- Deep familiarity with at least one vector store and one agent framework, including trade-off analysis.
- Cross-stack experience with Python, cloud infrastructure, containers, observability, and data pipelines.
- Strong understanding of evaluating groundedness, diagnosing system failures, and balancing model choice, cost, and latency.
- Preferred: experience with multi-agent systems, knowledge graphs, ontology-driven retrieval, hybrid graph and vector retrieval, Databricks AI tooling, ML platforms, or open-source contributions to AI tooling.
