Base Salary
$215k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build real-time, low-latency Voice AI for voicemail detection, IVR and virtual-assistant navigation, and in-call sales-representative guidance.
- Develop call intelligence using transcript analysis, conversation funnels, and Markov models to identify patterns in calls that convert.
- Build manager-facing products that surface coaching insights across sales teams.
- Work directly with customers through calls and shared Slack channels, then ship fixes based on their feedback.
- Make foundational technical decisions about voice-agent latency and recommendations that maximize booked demos.
- Mentor teammates, run code and design reviews, and pair on difficult technical problems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of engineering experience.
- Depth in React, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, or a closely related stack.
- Production experience shipping AI features, including experience operating a model under a strict latency budget and forming opinions about evaluations.
- Experience with real-time or low-latency systems at scale is a bonus.
- Ability to reason about capacity, quality of service, observability, and failure modes at high traffic volumes.
- Willingness to listen to customer calls and investigate product issues directly.
- Based in San Francisco and able to work in the office at least 3 days per week.
