Responsibilities

  • Own and support existing Manhattan Active Omni customizations and scope, design, configure, test, and implement new retail-system features.
  • Partner with stakeholders to drive best-practice adoption in Manhattan Active Omni Order Management and support scalable fulfillment operations.
  • Configure, analyze, and enhance Manhattan Active Omni POS, OMS, and WMS functionality and integrations.
  • Participate in sprint activities, scrum ceremonies, code reviews, cross-training, and workflow tracking using Jira.
  • Partner with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and business experts to review issues and design solutions for non-standard requirements.
  • Facilitate training and guide end users on effective use of SCI reporting.
  • Maintain customization, process, and troubleshooting documentation.
  • Verify and test system-build deployments and investigate escalated Helpdesk issues.
  • Assist with security-audit reporting and provide required data.
  • Build trusted relationships with Manhattan Associates representatives to support strategic alignment and implementations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or postgraduate education in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 5–7 years of overall work experience, including 3–5 years applying Manhattan Active Omni solutions in real-world retail environments.
  • At least 5 years of experience configuring and/or customizing Manhattan Active Order Management.
  • 3–5 years of experience with retail systems including POS, WMS, OMS, and associated integrations.
  • Advanced knowledge of Manhattan Active Omni inventory, order routing, fulfillment optimization, payments, pricing, promotions, taxes, and customer service operations.
  • Java knowledge for managing and troubleshooting extensions.
  • Experience working in SOX- and PCI-compliant organizations.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • SQL and relational database knowledge.
  • Experience with integrations, Postman, API endpoint management, REST, OpenAPI, and gRPC.
  • Experience integrating third-party payment, tax, and gift-card services.
  • Familiarity with Windows, HTML, JavaScript, XML, JSON, SOAP, ReST/oData, and version control.
  • Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, organizational, and business-to-technical translation skills.
  • Ability to influence technical decisions by presenting options, trade-offs, and risks.
  • Ability to use office automation, communication, software, and tools used in the HMI office environment.
