Responsibilities
- Lead the ground-up re-architecture and development of core risk and regulatory platforms.
- Apply governance to solution design, code quality, and coding standards.
- Drive scalable, maintainable, performant, high-availability, and multi-user systems.
- Act as a technical escalation point for the team during and outside office hours.
- Monitor team adherence, output, and technical solution quality.
- Manage work estimation and produce solution and technical documentation.
- Understand and oversee the technical structure, domain, and architecture of systems.
- Collaborate with managers, architects, and other stakeholders to create fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Oversee technical solutions from development through production at a low level.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentor and coach team members.
Requirements
- Commercial experience leading development solutions.
- Knowledge of Kafka, SQL, .NET, Golang, or TypeScript.
- Experience mentoring and coaching team members.
- Technical documentation skills.
- A proven track record in high-availability, multi-browser-compatible development.
- Experience with high-availability, multi-user, service-based systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant discipline.
