Responsibilities
- Provide tier-2 application support, troubleshooting, production monitoring, root cause analysis, and required on-call coverage.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain application enhancements, workflows, APIs, backend services, application components, and data structures.
- Implement database updates and schema changes and optimize application performance, stability, and reliability.
- Lead small to medium development and upgrade initiatives and ensure alignment with business needs, quality standards, and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, integration, reporting, help desk, stakeholders, and technical teams to resolve issues and deliver scalable solutions.
- Own application modules and issues, maintain technical documentation and requirements, support test-case and validation development, and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, business administration, management systems, electronics technology, computer engineering, health information management, or a directly related field.
- At least 2 years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience.
- Strong experience with C#, .NET Core or .NET 6+, and ASP.NET Core for web APIs and backend services.
- Proficiency designing RESTful APIs and service-based architectures and experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Understanding of cloud application development, preferably Microsoft Azure, including App Services, Functions, and Storage.
- Experience with OAuth2, JWT, secure API design, object-oriented design, software engineering practices, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with HTTP/HTTPS, JSON, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Knowledge of Epic software and other clinical and healthcare information systems is required; EPIC certification is preferred.
- Ability to manage priorities, work independently, collaborate with stakeholders, communicate clearly, identify risks, and develop and teach technical skills.
