Responsibilities
- Build and maintain web-based digital experiences for CBC/Radio-Canada audiences.
- Develop using JavaScript and React, with familiarity with TypeScript.
- Build and integrate API endpoints and third-party vendor products.
- Write unit and integration tests and support higher-level UI automation testing.
- Use tools such as Git, Jenkins, or Bamboo to manage development, build, test, and release workflows.
- Work collaboratively in an Agile, iterative, and incremental development environment.
- Learn new technologies, adapt to change, and contribute to technical innovation.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience working with JavaScript and React.
- Familiarity with TypeScript.
- Knowledge of software development best practices and quality engineering practices.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests, with familiarity with higher-level UI automation testing.
- Familiarity with development process and build, test, and release workflow tools such as Git, Jenkins, or Bamboo.
- Experience building and integrating API endpoints and third-party vendor products.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to understand diverse perspectives.
- A Computer Science or Engineering degree or equivalent training and experience is preferred.
- Ability to learn new technologies and work flexibly in an Agile environment.
