Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications, services, and automation frameworks.
- Build scalable data-processing and system-integration solutions using Python.
- Develop and consume REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Write efficient SQL queries and optimize database interactions.
- Automate manual business processes and develop reusable enterprise components, utilities, and shared frameworks.
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Follow coding standards, security policies, and software-development best practices.
- Support application troubleshooting, performance tuning, defect resolution, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Conduct code reviews, contribute to technical design discussions, and maintain technical documentation and knowledge repositories.
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 years of related experience is stated, with 4–8 years of Python development experience requested.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Strong experience with Python frameworks and libraries.
- Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts.
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, system integrations, automation, scripting, and data processing.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of software design principles and coding best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP; ETL or data-engineering solutions; cloud-native applications; DevOps and containerization; and regulatory, risk, compliance, or financial-services domains.
