Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership to engineers and ensure the quality of deliverables.
- Collaborate with architects to maintain architectural consistency and technical excellence.
- Translate stakeholder requirements into technical solutions and address cross-functional dependencies.
- Develop technical roadmaps and guide technology and tool selection.
- Mentor and coach team members in technical and leadership skills.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
- Architect and develop applications from scratch, including debugging and effort estimation.
- Improve system performance, scalability, fault tolerance, high availability, and reliability.
- Contribute to technical innovation, external presentations, and technical publications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of backend development experience.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
- Strong experience with Core Java, REST, Spring, unit testing, automation, and Jenkins.
- Experience with NoSQL storage systems including Cassandra, HBase, or MongoDB.
- Experience leading and mentoring engineering teams.
- Ability to analyze functional and non-functional requirements and define deployment strategies.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and debugging skills.
- Preferred experience with JavaScript, React, browser extensions, GWT, Swing, AWT, Docker, and Kubernetes.
