Base Salary
$121k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, maintenance, scalability, and integration of Generative AI platforms, applications, and services.
- Architect and deliver enterprise AI solutions using Python, Node.js, and TypeScript across Citi business units.
- Collaborate with data science, technical, business, architecture, infrastructure, vendor, and startup stakeholders on AI use cases and products.
- Deploy new Generative AI products and process improvements and resolve complex technical and business problems.
- Establish coding standards, testing methodologies, debugging practices, and implementation strategies for enterprise-grade solutions.
- Manage multiple initiatives and projects of varying sizes and complexity.
- Advise and coach mid-level AI developers and analysts.
- Partner with Risk and Control teams on governance, risk management, standardization, and tooling.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of progressive hands-on Python engineering experience building scalable platforms, applications, and services.
- At least 5 years of experience delivering complex backend solutions and services, including APIs and microservices, into production.
- Experience with Python libraries and frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, Pandas, Scikit-learn, and Hugging Face, plus Node.js, Express, NestJS, and TypeScript.
- Understanding of Generative AI systems, AIOps, application monitoring, and evaluation.
- Experience with cloud architectures and public cloud offerings.
- Hands-on experience integrating AI and machine learning technologies.
- Experience with software development agents, software testing, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Demonstrated project management, leadership, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- A bachelor's or university degree, or equivalent experience, is required; a master's degree is preferred.
- Financial industry experience is a significant advantage.
