Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and maintain quality software code.
- Break down and solve complex problems requiring research or collaboration.
- Use multiple levels of automated testing, including unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end testing.
- Mentor new and less-experienced team members.
- Initiate design and feature discussions and advocate for performance, scalability, reliability, and security improvements.
- Coordinate with other teams to integrate software applications successfully.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents.
- Understand and address customer needs and issues.
- Communicate effectively with varied audiences and across different mediums.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 4 years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in a typed, object-oriented programming language.
- Deep knowledge of software methodologies, tools, and common architectural patterns.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and deliver expected results on schedule.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
- Interest in software work within a software-as-a-service company and focus on client satisfaction.
