Base Salary
$135k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and own the React and three.js rendering layer, including the 3D viewport and common-operating-picture control measures.
- Turn design intent into polished production frontend components, interactions, motion, and visual details.
- Render live telemetry and mission data at workable frame rates in collaboration with data and platform engineers.
- Own 3D scene development, including renderers, materials, shaders, lighting, camera behavior, and level of detail.
- Prototype visual and interaction concepts quickly and take work from prototype through production.
- Contribute to data visualization and standard frontend work as needed.
Requirements
- Demonstrated shipped applications, demos, or experiments.
- Strong React and TypeScript skills with deep three.js or react-three-fiber experience.
- Solid WebGL fundamentals, GLSL proficiency, and strong real-time performance instincts.
- Strong visual judgment and the ability to evaluate interfaces for both functionality and polish.
- Experience in games, real-time data visualization, creative technology, or interactive agencies is suitable.
- Ability to own work end to end and work quickly on a lean team.
- Fluency with a 3D pipeline, including Blender, glTF, texture budgets, and geometry budgets, is preferred.
- Ability to satisfy U.S. Government space technology export regulations through citizenship, permanent residence, protected-individual status, or required authorizations.
