Senior Front End Graphics Engineer

Responsibilities
- Build and own the React and three.js rendering layer, including the 3D viewport and common-operating-picture control measures.
- Translate design intent into polished production front-end components, interactions, motion, and visual details.
- Render live telemetry and mission data with data and platform engineers while maintaining workable frame rates.
- Own 3D scene craft, including renderers, materials, shaders, lighting, camera behavior, and level of detail.
- Prototype visual and interaction concepts rapidly and take work from prototype through production, polish, and performance optimization.
- Contribute to data visualization and standard front-end work as needed.
Requirements
- Demonstrated shipped applications, demos, or experiments.
- Strong React and TypeScript skills with deep three.js or react-three-fiber experience.
- Solid WebGL fundamentals, GLSL proficiency, and a strong instinct for real-time performance.
- A strong visual eye and the ability to evaluate interfaces for both technical quality and visual polish.
- Experience in games, real-time data visualization, creative technology, interactive agencies, or transferable real-time 3D environments.
- Fluency with a 3D pipeline, including Blender, glTF, and texture and geometry budgets, is preferred.
- Ability to own work end to end, work efficiently on a lean team, and contribute across real-time 3D, data visualization, and front-end engineering.
