Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain the cloud infrastructure powering Tandem’s products.
- Build scalable systems on Kubernetes to support rapid and reliable product development.
- Develop and optimize secure, automated deployment pipelines.
- Implement encryption and key management systems for healthcare-grade security.
- Build observability, monitoring, and alerting into every layer of the platform.
- Improve and validate infrastructure performance, reliability, scalability, and quality through testing and automation.
- Support rapid iteration in a regulated healthcare environment.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, with Azure preferred and AWS or GCP also welcomed.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD, and modern cloud tooling.
- Hands-on programming experience building systems rather than only configuring them.
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and encryption concepts.
- Experience with Terraform, Helm, or infrastructure-as-code.
- High standards for quality, documentation, correctness, and pragmatic execution.
