Responsibilities
- Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop AI/ML solutions for impactful business needs.
- Work with team members to productionize end-to-end AI/ML solutions.
- Conduct research and development of innovative applied AI/ML solutions.
- Perform data wrangling, data analysis, model selection, and modeling.
- Coach AI/ML team members toward personal and professional success.
- Collaborate across teams to support the team and firm mission and vision.
Requirements
- Complete formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and have 5+ years of applied experience.
- Hold an advanced degree in an analytical field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analysis, or Operations Research.
- Have experience applying AI/ML to a relevant field and practical experience with supervised, unsupervised, and semi-supervised machine learning techniques.
- Have strong experience with natural language processing and its applications.
- Demonstrate solid Python coding skills and experience with TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, scikit-learn, or similar libraries.
- Have previous experience working with Spark, Hive, or SQL.
- Preferred qualifications include practical LLM application experience, a financial services background, and a PhD in a relevant discipline.
