Responsibilities

Architect high-quality solutions for complex and ambiguous customer problems.
Develop readable, maintainable, and efficient software across multiple modules and applications.
Apply safe coding practices related to security, dependencies, and risk mitigation.
Estimate work, staffing needs, interviews, and software development schedules for client projects.
Manage concurrent branches and multi-branch merges in version control.
Perform unit and integration testing in deployment environments.
Identify testing gaps and recommend alternative methodologies or frameworks.
Support implementations by helping resolve production issues for Business Analysts and Technical Support.
Lead projects and mentor junior engineers.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
Strong problem-solving and coding skills.
Experience with C#, Java, or Go.
Experience with microservice architecture, systems design, and highly scalable backend microservices.
Knowledge of data structures and algorithms and their practical application.
Experience shipping high-quality product features on schedule and handling complex problems at scale.
Experience with MySQL or Oracle.
Collaborative cross-functional experience and experience leading projects or mentoring junior engineers are preferred.
Knowledge of the logistics and freight industry and experience with React are preferred.
A preferred MS or PhD in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
