Responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end testing across the electronic trading lifecycle, including order creation, routing, execution, allocation, and downstream processing.
- Translate business and functional requirements into test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing of complex distributed systems.
- Verify integrations and connectivity between trading platforms and external venues.
- Collaborate with software developers, product teams, and business stakeholders to ensure solution quality.
- Identify, document, and track software defects throughout the development lifecycle.
- Contribute to test strategies and quality assurance processes.
- Develop and maintain automated, scalable, maintainable, and data-driven testing frameworks.
- Support testing activities within a globally distributed team.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in quality assurance and software testing.
- Hands-on experience testing complex distributed systems end to end.
- Experience with financial services, trading, or capital markets applications is advantageous.
- Strong scripting or programming skills in Python, Perl, or similar languages.
- Experience working in UNIX/Linux environments.
- Knowledge of source control systems, defect management tools, and CI/CD platforms.
- Understanding of electronic trading systems, trading workflows, market connectivity, order routing, and execution processes.
- Knowledge of the FIX Protocol is preferred.
