Base Salary
$170k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate customer needs into technical solutions and shape product requirements
- Write maintainable, production-safe code following engineering best practices
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Data partners from concept through deployment
- Own feature development through coding, deployment, monitoring, QA, and user-feedback iteration
- Contribute technical input and architectural decisions balancing immediate delivery with long-term scalability
- Advocate for engineering excellence and improve developer tooling and experience
- Participate in code reviews and architectural deep-dives
- Communicate clearly through pull request descriptions and proactive blocker escalation
Requirements
- At least five years of professional experience, preferably in high-growth product environments
- Strong coding and architectural proficiency with a focus on reliable, maintainable production code
- Full-stack experience across backend services, APIs, and modern frontends such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
- Ability to translate customer needs into technical solutions and business outcomes
- Effective use of AI coding tools without compromising architectural integrity
- Understanding of feature delivery from local development through production monitoring
- Experience with Django, Python, React, and React Native is preferred
- Experience with feature flags, config-driven behavior, and progressive rollouts is preferred
- Exposure to LLM-based systems, prompt engineering, tool-call architectures, or agent workflows is preferred
- Domain experience in two-sided marketplaces or recruitment platforms is preferred
