Base Salary
$240k - $285k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead technical strategy for critical Banking initiatives, balancing long-term architecture with near-term delivery needs across multiple teams.
- Drive the design and evolution of reliable, scalable systems for money movement and bank account experiences.
- Partner cross-functionally to turn complex business and regulatory requirements into durable technical solutions.
- Identify and resolve systemic reliability and quality issues, improving observability and engineering standards.
- Provide technical leadership by driving architecture reviews and aligning stakeholders.
- Mentor senior engineers and emerging technical leaders within the Banking org.
- Contribute directly to design, debugging, and implementation for high-stakes initiatives.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including senior technical leadership on complex initiatives.
- Demonstrated track record of leading architecture and delivery for large-scale distributed systems.
- Strong systems thinking and ability to simplify complex problems into actionable plans.
- Experience improving reliability and operational excellence in production systems.
- Ability to work effectively across engineering, product, design, and other cross-functional partners.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to influence stakeholders.
- Hands-on technical depth and sound engineering judgment.
- Experience mentoring senior engineers and scaling technical leadership.
