Base Salary
$143k - $238k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build optical design software solutions in C++.
- Engage subject-matter experts in solution envisioning and feature development.
- Research, experiment with, and develop usability enhancements and modernize the UI stack.
- Use advanced development tools and practices to deliver high-quality, high-performance software.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, and customer representatives in an agile environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, optics, or another technical field.
- Five to ten years of software development experience.
- Multiple years of experience and deep understanding of C++.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Hands-on frontend development and user workflow design experience on Windows using Qt/QML, .NET, or MFC.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to translate subject-matter expertise into product solutions.
- Experience with large commercial software systems, HPC, licensing and installer technologies, CAD applications, 3D geometry, numerical methods, shippable AI products, or cross-platform development is preferred.
