Base Salary
$182k - $218k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deliver platform presentations and demonstrations focused on Application Security Testing and Runtime Protection.
- Evangelize Harness AppSec and API/AI Security capabilities, including SCA, SAST, DAST, and runtime protection.
- Connect business security risks and compliance problems to technical solutions across the DevSecOps pipeline.
- Lead complex technical engagements, including workshops and proofs of value, covering software from code through operation and API and AI workflows.
- Communicate customer security requirements and feature requests to Engineering.
- Travel occasionally on short notice for customer engagements, internal meetings, and conferences.
Requirements
- Experience as a pre-sales engineer supporting SaaS or software sales in DevSecOps or cybersecurity, or strong practitioner experience with software evaluation and buying processes.
- Hands-on experience with modern application security practices and tools such as API Security, AI Security, SAST, DAST, and SCA.
- Understanding of cloud-native application security and risks associated with GenAI integration.
- Ability to stay current with AI security, software supply chain security, emerging technologies, and threat landscapes.
- Ability to explain complex customer security requirements and feature requests to Engineering.
- Willingness and ability to travel occasionally on short notice.
- Valid authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
