Responsibilities

  • Apply AI/ML techniques to scale testing, classify autonomous vehicle performance, and identify critical scenarios.
  • Integrate machine learning models into simulation tests and evaluation pipelines.
  • Design experiments and implement tradeoff-aware solutions covering edge cases.
  • Develop, test, and deploy production-ready code across simulation infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional stakeholders through design reviews, code reviews, and integration activities.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotics, engineering, or a related STEM field.
  • Have at least one additional quarter or semester of school remaining after the internship.
  • Demonstrate understanding of modern machine learning techniques and AI/ML coursework, research, or project experience.
  • Have strong Python programming skills.
  • Be able to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
  • Preferred qualifications include pursuit of a master’s degree, exposure to Transformers, CNNs, or diffusion models; experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, or Keras; robotics or computer vision experience; multimodal learning or sensor-data familiarity; publication, open-source, or patent interests; and knowledge of C++ or Java.
