Base Salary
$97k - $145k/yr
Responsibilities
- Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, application development, model development, and systems implementation.
- Manage and monitor application development activities across analysis, design, construction, testing, implementation, and operational support.
- Analyze complex application-development problems and evaluate business processes, system processes, and industry standards.
- Develop post-implementation security measures and recommend programming solutions for users, clients, and technology groups.
- Build and support applications, consult with business users, and establish operating standards and procedures.
- Serve as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts and act as a subject-matter expert for senior stakeholders and team members.
- Assess and escalate technology, compliance, control, and operational risks appropriately.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- 3+ years of strong Java proficiency and deep hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and reactive Spring.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and designing microservices with Spring Boot.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL, and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Experience with Maven or Gradle, Docker, Kubernetes, Splunk, and Git.
- Understanding of software development best practices, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Preferred: banking-domain and KYC experience, plus experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
