Responsibilities
- Exceed regional sales targets and support the sales process with technical expertise.
- Present Netskope’s cloud security architecture and business value to security leaders, executives, architects, and prospective customers.
- Create and deliver product demonstrations, presentations, conference sessions, and seminars.
- Gather customer technical requirements and develop presentation, demonstration, proof-of-concept, and overall win strategies.
- Create evaluation test plans with customers and partners and manage evaluations through successful completion.
- Lead customer Proof-of-Concept exercises and respond to RFIs and RFPs.
- Support regional customer success, resolve satisfaction issues, and escalate issues cross-functionally when needed.
- Provide customer and partner feedback to Product Management on feature requests and product enhancements.
- Analyze competitive solutions and explain Netskope’s differentiation.
- Travel heavily within the assigned territory and support other regional company engagements as needed.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of relevant Solutions Engineering or Systems Engineering experience with a demonstrated record of presenting technical information to business executives and architects.
- Strong customer empathy, revenue orientation, communication, presentation, public-speaking, and executive-influencing skills.
- Ability to work from whiteboard-level discussions with security architects through strategic conversations with CISOs.
- Hands-on experience installing, configuring, and administering Linux, macOS, and Windows systems.
- Proficiency with mobile device technologies including MDM/MAM, Android, and iOS.
- Knowledge of certificates, key management systems, HSMs, and related protocols.
- Hands-on experience with Web Proxy, NGFW, Security Gateways, remote access, site-to-site VPN, SAML/SSO, DLP, data security, and regular expressions.
- Experience with Cloud Identity Providers, SCIM, SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and SD-WAN deployments and integrations.
- Experience with Active Directory Services and ADFS; Azure AD knowledge is desired.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP public cloud environments and cloud-based SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS technologies.
- Working knowledge of the broader threat landscape and ability to explain complex technology trends and behaviors clearly.
- Python scripting and REST API experience are desirable.
- Prior experience with other cloud security vendors and products such as Bluecoat, Symantec, McAfee, Checkpoint, Cisco, and Juniper is advantageous.
- Relevant security or network certifications such as CISSP, CCSK, CCSP, CCSE, GCFW, PCNSE, JNCIS-SEC, JNCIP-ENT, GCIH, CCNP, CCIE, JNCIE, or equivalent are desirable.
- Agile Scrum certifications such as CSPO, CSM, or CSP, or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, are desirable.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science or a related field.
