Responsibilities
- Own large-scale projects expanding e-commerce offerings and optimizing complex backend integration systems.
- Design and code high-impact foundational features for Braze’s integration platform.
- Drive critical technical initiatives and contribute to product and technology strategy.
- Participate in design and architecture reviews and improve system performance and resiliency.
- Mentor engineers and help maximize the effectiveness of the team.
Requirements
- Experienced technical leader with a strong record of full-stack development and understanding of design, data structures, and algorithms.
- Professional experience with Ruby, Ruby on Rails, React, SQL, NoSQL databases, distributed systems, and API design, monitoring, and best practices.
- Professional experience building software at scale and delivering high-quality solutions to ambiguous and complex problems with minimal oversight.
- Strong communication, organizational, collaboration, ownership, and mentoring skills.
- Experience with agile processes and a passion for customer experience.
