Responsibilities
- Provide functional support through business requirements analysis, system configuration, testing, training, and documentation.
- Support or lead software upgrades, patches, code releases, and database changes.
- Implement and support third-party enterprise software, in-house interfaces, and reports.
- Compile and analyze business requirements and prepare functional specifications for technical development.
- Troubleshoot mid-level to difficult functional issues using SQL and collaborate with business and technical teams.
- Participate in process mapping, change control, software lifecycle activities, and small or mid-sized projects.
- Provide 7x24 support under the guidance of senior team members.
Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft SQL database queries, query optimization, SSRS, and Crystal Reports.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organization, prioritization, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment, exercise sound judgment, and interact with internal customers.
- A B.S. degree in Computer Science or an IT-related business field is preferred; relevant technical or industry experience will be considered.
- T-SQL, IIS, and Windows Server experience is preferred.
- Oil and gas pipeline application support experience and Synthesis application experience are advantageous.
- French/English bilingual ability is a plus.
