Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Architect, design, implement, test, debug, and deploy integrated embedded real-time software for systems combining FPGA firmware and hardware.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary integrated product teams to improve product concepts, implementation, testability, and measurable quality.
- Work with Product Owners, Chief Engineers, management, and other IPT members using Lean and/or Agile practices.
- Contribute to proposals and preliminary and critical design reviews.
- Teach, coach, and mentor less experienced staff.
- Work across the product line with other teams and obtain required program access.
Requirements
- A STEM degree and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience are typically required.
- Experience in at least two of embedded C++ software, embedded software security, or software architecture design and implementation is required.
- Experience with embedded real-time operating systems such as Green Hills, Integrity, Wind River VxWorks, or Linux is required.
- Experience developing complex systems integrating hardware, firmware, and software is required.
- An active and transferable final Secret U.S. government-issued security clearance is required before the start date, with the ability to obtain program access after starting.
- Preferred qualifications include familiarity with electrical schematics, VHDL or Verilog firmware source, assembly language for a processor or controller family, laboratory instruments, and device-driver development for bare-metal or operating-system applications.
