Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy solutions using Java, Spring, Hibernate, and AWS services.
- Translate business processes into technical specifications in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Develop and integrate REST and SOAP APIs with internal and external systems.
- Support modernization of legacy applications using modern Java, cloud, and web technologies.
- Explore and integrate AI, ML, and GenAI capabilities for document processing, intelligent search, data extraction, automation, and productivity use cases.
- Use GenAI-enabled SDLC tools to improve coding, documentation, testing, troubleshooting, and legacy code analysis.
- Review and validate AI-generated code for correctness, maintainability, security, compliance, and coding-standard adherence.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Write clean, secure, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services.
- Stay current with cloud services and AI/ML/GenAI advancements.
Requirements
- Experience with Java, Spring or Spring Boot, Hibernate, Tomcat, Maven, GitHub, MySQL, Oracle, JSP, HTML, JavaScript, and jQuery or an equivalent UI framework.
- Knowledge of AWS and experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying enterprise applications.
- Experience developing and integrating REST and SOAP APIs.
- Basic understanding of AI, ML, and GenAI concepts, including prompt engineering, LLM-based application integration, document and text processing, data extraction, and enterprise AI use cases.
- Exposure to integrating AI/ML or GenAI services and APIs into enterprise applications.
- Exposure to GenAI-enabled SDLC tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or similar tools.
- Nice-to-have experience with Aurora DB, AWS EC2, S3, Secrets Manager, AWS SDK, Lambda, SQS, CodeArtifact, Jenkins, Linux/Unix, Gradle, AngularJS, AWS SageMaker, AWS Bedrock, OpenAI API, vector databases, embeddings, RAG-based solutions, Python basics for AI/ML use cases, and GenAI-assisted SDLC practices.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, troubleshoot production issues, follow coding and security standards, and collaborate cross-functionally.
