Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain reusable, modular, responsive Angular and TypeScript UI components and application views.
- Translate UX specifications and user research into accessible, performant frontend implementations.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate frontend components with AWS API Gateway, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
- Optimize application performance through code splitting, lazy loading, tree shaking, and caching strategies.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, automated testing, and frontend code quality standards.
- Collaborate with backend engineers, platform teams, and UX designers on frontend architecture, component libraries, and integration contracts.
- Create technical documentation for UI components, integration patterns, and frontend architecture decisions.
- Participate in Agile sprint planning, backlog refinement, and iterative delivery.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 10+ years of software engineering experience.
- Hands-on Angular experience building reusable, production-grade UI components.
- Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills for responsive and interactive frontend applications.
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Sass, UI performance optimization, UI design principles, human-computer interaction, and UX best practices.
- Experience integrating frontend applications with backend services and AWS services including API Gateway, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
- Experience with Git-based version control and modern development workflows.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated build and deployment processes.
- Experience working within Agile development methodologies.
- US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance are required.
- Preferred experience includes Jest, Cypress, Karma, Jasmine, Angular Material, Bootstrap, WCAG accessibility, Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, React, Vue.js, Java, Python, Node.js, EKS, and Step Functions.
