Responsibilities
- Create software that supports decision-making across investment strategies.
- Design, build, and maintain software solutions for the firm’s core teams, focusing on performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Own the end-to-end development process, including stakeholder collaboration, execution strategy, implementation, and thorough testing.
- Collaborate with engineers and teams across the firm to solve complex technical challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience building production-level software in Python.
- Experience with an object-oriented language such as Java or C#.
- Experience working with at least one financial asset class.
- Experience with SQL databases.
- At least 4 years of experience working in the financial industry, with buy-side experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in similar industry roles is a strong plus.
- AI-assisted coding experience in a production environment is a bonus.
- Product knowledge in Equity or Fixed Income asset classes is a bonus.
