Base Salary
$146k - $234k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and incorporate feedback into product designs.
- Translate functional requirements into system designs and communicate component interactions.
- Design and develop product components, refine code plans, and lead design reviews.
- Contribute to project estimation and escalate issues that may affect delivery timelines.
- Create and maintain extensible, reusable code and drive code quality through metrics and best practices.
- Debug moderately complex issues and identify opportunities for automation.
- Lead code reviews and provide feedback on adherence to coding standards.
- Create complex test plans, identify gaps, and proactively address defects.
- Use data analysis and monitoring standards to identify patterns and defects.
- Participate in on-call rotations and troubleshoot incidents through resolution.
- Build and enhance developer tools supporting programs and applications.
- Research emerging technologies and recommend technical resources and solutions to other engineers.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience with a bachelor's degree, 2 years with an advanced degree, 0 years with a PhD, or 8 years of relevant work experience without the degree requirement.
- Experience in software engineering or a directly related field.
- Experience developing full-stack applications and/or implementing web-based or mobile applications using AI tools.
- Experience in a leadership role, with or without direct reports.
- Experience creating and maintaining test plans and executing testing procedures.
- Experience debugging and troubleshooting software issues.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions.
- Experience conducting code reviews and applying coding standards.
- Experience building or enhancing developer tools.
- Experience working with container-based technologies.
- Experience building and testing enterprise-scale web services.
- Experience in product development and on client-facing project or technical teams.
- Ability to work with and advocate for emerging technologies, including generative AI tools.
Benefits
- Estimated salary range is $146,200.00 to $233,700.00 USD per year, with potential bonus and equity eligibility.

- Requires at least 3 days per week in the office.
- Requires 5–10% travel.
