Responsibilities
- Deploy JetBrains Central into enterprise development environments, CI/CD systems, and internal developer platforms.
- Help customers transition from ad-hoc AI experimentation to governed AI-native development workflows.
- Implement AI governance, including security policies, access management, and data privacy controls.
- Enable observability, usage controls, and cost visibility for AI-driven development across multiple model providers.
- Integrate the cloud-based agent execution layer so AI agents can run securely and at scale.
- Collaborate with JetBrains product teams to influence the platform based on customer deployments and feedback.
- Create delivery frameworks and train JetBrains partners to deliver services.
- Mentor and support other Forward Deployed Engineers and scale deployment practices.
- Travel to meet customers.
Requirements
- Experience in software-related projects, ideally in a customer-facing or consulting environment.
- Familiarity with Java or Python.
- Experience building or integrating developer platforms, infrastructure systems, or software solutions.
- Familiarity with modern development workflows, developer environments, and internal developer platforms.
- Experience working directly with customers or technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and comfort operating in fast-evolving technical environments.
- Ability and desire to travel to meet customers.
- Preferred experience with industry-specific solutions such as fintech, telecommunications, or retail.
- Preferred experience with AI/LLM platforms, agent frameworks, or AI-assisted development tools.
- Preferred experience in solutions engineering, consulting, or forward-deployed engineering roles.
- Preferred familiarity with the JetBrains ecosystem or developer productivity tooling.
