Responsibilities
- Own the technical design and development of backend components.
- Develop and maintain REST APIs using C# and .NET 8.
- Implement data access with Entity Framework and work with SQL databases.
- Apply SOLID principles, Clean Architecture, and dependency injection to create maintainable solutions.
- Investigate technical issues and translate findings into practical solutions.
- Collaborate with the technical lead and team members on implementation and integration decisions.
- Contribute to code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and automated testing.
- Communicate progress, technical decisions, and delivery risks clearly.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with .NET development, preferably as a senior developer or technical lead.
- Proven experience building REST APIs with C# and .NET 8.
- Practical experience with Entity Framework and solid SQL knowledge.
- Understanding of SOLID principles, Clean Architecture, and dependency injection.
- Ability to take responsibility for technical design and implementation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Fluent English; Dutch is a plus.
- Experience with Git, unit testing, and automated testing practices, particularly xUnit, is preferred.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud-based solutions, particularly Microsoft Azure, is a plus.
