Responsibilities

Architect and build scalable, high-performance .NET applications.
Design and implement clean, modular, and efficient software solutions.
Own application robustness and architecture, including scalability, security, and performance.
Make and defend architecture decisions and anticipate future system scaling needs.
Integrate application components, APIs, and services.
Build REST and GraphQL APIs and write API middleware.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients in a hybrid work environment.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship and set the team’s technical direction.
Lead a development team and deliver custom solutions from scratch.
Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to support timely, high-quality delivery.

At least 10 years of proven experience in a similar role.
Expertise in C# and the .NET ecosystem.
Experience with Blazor and CQRS.
Experience with Entity Framework, LINQ, and relational databases including Postgres or Azure SQL Server.
Experience with cloud platforms, ideally Microsoft Azure.
Experience incorporating AI tooling into workflows.
Familiarity with Scrum and agile environments.
Strong communication, teamwork, attention to detail, code quality, problem-solving, continuous learning, and innovation mindset.
Fluent English; Dutch is a plus.
Located in Belgium.
Bonus: experience with TypeScript in backend environments using Node.js, NestJS, Express, or Fastify.
Bonus: experience developing products and platforms for the maritime sector.
Ability to demonstrate skills through real-world projects.
