Base Salary
$152k - $172k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own Platform Security Engineering for assigned Ping Identity products and tools.
- Assist in developing and implementing Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) practices.
- Perform security design/code reviews and vulnerability assessments in an agile environment.
- Conduct security tasks including threat modeling, developer training, and static code analysis.
- Innovate the automation of SSDLC tasks.
- Collaborate with SRE and Engineering teams to secure platform infrastructure.
- Assist presales, support, and customer success teams with security-related inquiries.
- Engage with third-party security consultants for independent assessments and penetration testing.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Enterprise Platform Security, API Security, and Web Application Security.
- 5+ years of experience developing commercial or open-source products, preferably in Java.
- Experience securing services based on cloud infrastructure, including Kubernetes and IaC.
- Understanding of network protocols and architectures such as TCP/IP, UDP, and TLS.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
